So you've been accepted... great! What do you do now? Well, follow this New Character Guide and we'll help you make sure you're ready to jump right into the game! All these entries linked here are friends only and just for players and characters that have been accepted, so once you are, you'll have access to them. That having been said...
[ Update your friends lists! ] Go to the link, type your username in the box, and click submit to make sure all the character journals from the game have been added to your friends list.
[ Let us know which font you'd like for your character's handwriting. ] It isn't absolutely necessary that your character write in the journals with it, or comment to others with it, but it would be nice if everyone had a nice personalized font for each character's handwriting, that at the very least is used in graphics and headers and such. Also be sure to download whichever fonts are being used that you don't have on your computer, if you can. Again, this isn't mandatory, just a recommendation to make the game more fun and realistic.
[ Copy the Character Sheet/Profile Format and fill it out. ] Feel free to add or omit information as you feel is needed. For student characters, just delete the 'as an adult' section. Once you're done with that, put it up on either your character's profile, or in an entry under an lj-cut and link to it on the character's profile page. This way, the players in the game can get to know your character better. Remember, you won't be able to completely fill it out, just do what you can. The OOC/Plotting Community can be used for plotting out some of the rest and backstory building, and some of the profile can even come about after in-game play.
