Slytherin wins both the Quidditch Cup and the House Cup. Head Boy Theodore Nott, Head Girl Padma Patil, and other Pure- and Half-blood students who attended Hogwarts and feel up to it are allowed to sit for their NEWTs and graduate. Programs are put into place so that those who were not afforded the opportunity to learn their final year are allowed to learn what they need; they sit for their NEWTs a few months later.

Scroll to your character's present Year at Hogwarts, and check the days their birthdate should fall within; it will also let you know when they would have started Hogwarts, and the years during which they will be in attendance.
